Fielding Henry is noted on the 1891 Tennessee Voters List in Monroe County, Tennessee in District 12:
I believe my ancestry goes through this line through Patrick Henry mentioned in the 1870 census. He married Mary Hawkins. They are the parents to my great grandfather Henderson Calloway Henry, but there seems to be a lot of mystery surrounding his upbringing. I found their names on his death certificate, but family stories say that he was not raised by them, but rather by an aunt with the last name Hawkins. I have not found any census records showing him living with them. I also noticed that Patrick is missing from the 1860 census eventhough he was born in 1854. If you have any information on this family relationship, I'd really appreciate whatever you have.

ReplyDeleteI beleive its the same Patrick that is Fielding's son. I go through two of Fielding's daughters: Sarah that married James White, jr on my dads side and Rebecca that married William Charles White on my moms side.
